Our Structure

Core Leadership Team (CLT)

The work of the Coalition is guided and directed by a 26-member Core Leadership Team (CLT) with senior representatives from each sector including state agencies, the Institute of Medicine and Public Health (IMPH), consumers, rural health, addiction specialists/301 system, peer support, pharmacy, law enforcement, the judicial system, insurers, providers. The CLT oversees all functions and activities within the Coalition and serves as the steward for the Collaborative’s mission, vision and, guiding principles.

Data Analytics and Informatics Team

The Data Analytics and Informatics Team provides support to each priority area workgroup and is tasked with developing a core set of behavioral health performance metrics to help provide an understanding of the flaws and opportunities in the system both at the local and state level.

Priority Area Workgroups/Action Teams

The Coalition is divided into three Priority Area Workgroups/Action Teams with each Coalition member serving on one of the three strategic priority areas. Action Teams, led by a volunteer Chair and Co-Chair with area expertise, are responsible for establishing both short and long-term goals, with a primary focus on identifying and disseminating community-based actions. Action teams continue to meet bi-monthly.

Infrastructure Support and Planning Team (ISPT)

The Infrastructure Support and Planning Team (ISPT) is tasked with several roles: coordinating and facilitating Coalition meetings; monitoring and providing support to the priority area workgroups; and serving as a liaison to the CLT to ensure mission, vision, core values are honored. Led by Coalition staff, the ISPT includes the Chair and Co-Chair of each priority area workgroup as well as the Data Analytics Team.

Legal/Regulatory Advisory Committee

The Legal/Regulatory Advisory Committee serves as a resource for legislative and regulatory policies. The Coalition is supported by funding through The Duke Endowment and both financial and in-kind contributions from the following organizations: SCHA, SCMA, DAODAS, DMH, DHHS, and the BCBS Foundation. There is a Finance Committee to monitor these contributions.
